Case 4: Complex Valve Disease


Patient with Marfan syndrome and previous mechanical mitral and aortic valve replacement accompanied with aortic root replacement. Coronaral localizer shows massively dilated heart almost filling the whole chest.


Cine 4CH / 2CH / 3CH: Dilated LV and RV with impaired systolic function. Massively dilated atria. There is mitral regurgitation, tricuspid regurgitation and aortic regurgitation. Overall, all valves appear to be well seated with no obvious restriction to opening of the leaflets.
