Case 2: First pass perfusion imaging in patients with aortocoronary bypass surgery (ACBP)

Coronary angiography: Two patients with a LIMA to LAD graft. In both patients the arterial bypass graft is free of any stenosis. However, note the normal contrast flow in patient 1 in comparison to the delayed flow through the LAD graft in patient 2, which might be related to a higher peripheral resistance. This delay of contrast arrival through LIMA may impair the interpretation of single-bolus first pass perfusion scans.
